Your page's look is one choice in the editor: **Dark**, **Light** or **Violet**, free on every plan and changed whenever you like. On Pro you can build your own theme, with your background, text and button colours, your fonts and your button shape, save it once and use it on every page you have.

## Before you start

- A page on exclusively.me ([claim your name](/guides/claim-your-name) if you haven't yet).
- Your own themes need Pro. The three built-in looks don't. On a team seat, you can choose your team's themes.

## The steps

::: step Open the theme picker
In your editor, under your links, the **Theme** row shows Dark, Light and Violet, and on Pro any themes you've saved beside them. The one with the tick is the one your page uses now.
:::

*Screen: The editor's Theme row: the three built-in looks, a saved theme called Bakery, and Manage themes.*

::: step Pick a look and watch the preview
Click a tile. The preview beside the editor changes at once, so you can try all three before you decide. Press **Save changes** at the bottom of the editor to keep it.
:::

*Screen: The example page in the light look.*

::: step Build your own theme (Pro)
On **My Pages**, under Themes, click **New theme**. You can also get there from **Manage themes** in the editor. Give it a name, then switch on the colours you want to set: Background, Text, Bio text, Link buttons, Accent and On accent. Anything you leave off keeps the built-in colour underneath. Choose fonts for headings and body text, and a shape and fill for your buttons, then press **Create theme**.
:::

*Screen: A new theme on Pro: its name, the colours you switch on, then typography and buttons.*

::: step Use it on any page
Your theme now sits in the Theme row of every page's editor, next to the built-in looks. Pick it on each page you want it on. Change the theme later and every page using it changes with it. To put your own photo behind it, see [add a background image](/guides/add-a-background-image).
:::

## Check it worked

Open your page on your phone. It's in the look you picked, and the share cards and QR code still point to the same address.

## If something's different

### I can't find New theme
Custom themes are a Pro feature. On Free the Theme row has the three built-in looks and a link to see what a theme can do.

### Some colours didn't change
Only the colours you switched on are set by your theme. Switch on the others, or pick a different built-in look underneath it.

### My team gave me a theme
If you're in a team that offers its brand themes, they appear in your Theme row marked **Team**. You can use one or keep your own look; it's your page.

## Do it with your AI

Connect your AI at [exclusively.me/connect](/connect) and ask *"Make my exclusively.me page light"*, or on Pro *"Make a theme in my bakery's colours, cream background and orange buttons, and use it on my page"*. You see the page in the new theme first, and it changes only when you approve.

## Why it's worth it

A page that looks like you gets pressed more than one that looks like everyone else's. Free gives you three clean looks; Pro lets the page match your shop sign, your van and your kit, without a designer.
