Ten links in a row is a list; the same ten under *Order*, *See our bakes* and *Find us* is a page. **Headings** and **sub-headings** are blocks you drop between your links to group them, and together with text, tables and profile blocks they let you lay out a page that reads top to bottom: the thing you most want done first, everything else in tidy sections below.

## Before you start

- Pro: headings are one of Pro's page blocks.
- Your links already on the page ([Add, order and schedule your links](/guides/add-order-schedule-links)).

## The steps

::: step Plan your sections
Write down what people come to your page for, most important first. For a bakery: *Order*, *Prices*, *See our bakes*, *Find us*. For a driver: *This weekend*, *Watch*, *Partners*. Three or four sections is plenty.
:::

::: step Add a heading
In **Quick add**, press **Heading**, type the section's name and **Save**. For a smaller label inside a section, open the new row's **Block** list and choose **Sub-heading** instead.
:::

::: step Drag everything into place
Each heading arrives at the bottom of your list. Drag it by its handle to the top of its section, then drag the links that belong under it. The editor lists each block with its type under its title (*Heading*, *Sub-heading*, *Text*, *Table*, *Profile*), so you can see the shape of the page at a glance.
:::

*Screen: A page laid out in the editor: Order and See our bakes as headings, Saturday market as a sub-heading, with links, a table and a profile block between them.*

::: step Check it on a phone
The preview beside the editor shows the sections as visitors will see them. Most of your visitors are on a phone, so keep each section short enough to read without much scrolling.

## Check it worked

Open your page on your phone: each section starts with its heading, in your theme's heading font.

## If something's different

### Heading isn't in my Quick add
Headings, text, tables and profile blocks are Pro. On Free, the Block list shows what Pro adds.

### Does a heading count towards my links?
Yes, each block counts as one row on your page.

### Can a heading be scheduled?
Yes, like any row: a *This weekend* heading can switch itself on with the links under it.

## Do it with your AI

Ask your AI *"Tidy my page into sections: Order, Prices and Find us, with my links under the right ones"*. It proposes the headings and the new order, and you approve the preview.

## Why it's worth it

A visitor gives your page a few seconds. Sections mean they find *Order* straight away instead of scrolling past your Spotify link, and your page looks designed rather than piled up.
