A **profile block** is a button on your page that points at another exclusively.me page and wears that page's picture instead of an icon. Use it for your sponsors, your suppliers, your teammates or the venue you play at. It's always up to date: if they change their picture or their name, your button follows. And it only shows while you're still connected and their page is live, so you never send anyone to a dead end.

## Before you start

- Pro: profile blocks are one of Pro's page blocks.
- A connection with the person whose page you want to show ([Connect with people you know](/guides/connect-with-people)). Your own pages don't need one.

## The steps

::: step Add a Page / Profile block
In your page's editor, under **Quick add**, press **Page / Profile**. The new row opens with **Block** set to *Profile*.
:::

::: step Choose the page
**Page / Profile** is one list: **My pages** first (never the page you're editing), then a group for each connection with the pages of theirs you can see. There's no address box: you can only point at a page you've been shown. Leave the **Title** empty and it fills itself from their name and the page's, or write your own, like *Our flour: Flour Power Mill*. Press **Save**.
:::

*Screen: A profile block: Block set to Profile, a title, and the pages it can point at, yours first, then each connection's.*

::: step See it on your page
Your page shows the button with their picture on it, styled like your other links. Visitors press it and land on their page. Clicks are counted, like any link.
:::

*Screen: An example page with two profile blocks under a heading, each wearing the connection's own picture.*

::: step Know when it hides itself
A profile block shows only while it can work. It hides from your page when:

- **either of you ends the connection**: a connection is something you both keep agreeing to;
- their page is switched off, deleted or set to *Only people with the link*;
- your plan stops including page blocks.

Nothing is deleted. In your editor the row stays where you put it, marked so you can see why (*Target hidden*, or *no longer available to you*), and if things change back (you reconnect, they switch the page on), it comes back on its own.
:::

## Check it worked

Open your page on your phone. The button shows their picture and takes you to their page.

## If something's different

### Their page isn't in the list
You need to be connected, and their page must be live and not set to *Only people with the link*. Check your **My Connections** tab: the pages listed there are the ones you can choose.

### The button disappeared from my page
The connection ended, or their page went offline. Open your editor: the row is still there and says why.

### Can I link to my own sub-pages the same way?
Yes. Your own pages are first in the list and need no connection. See [Add sub-pages](/guides/add-sub-pages).

## Do it with your AI

Ask your AI *"Add a heading called Friends of the bakery, then profile blocks for Flour Power Mill and Jess's Coffee Cart"*. It offers only pages you're allowed to link to, and you approve the preview first ([Build your page by asking](/guides/build-your-page-by-asking)).

## Why it's worth it

A sponsor wants to be seen; a supplier wants the referral; a friend wants the favour returned. Profile blocks give them a proper place on your page, with their face on it, that never goes stale and never outlives the relationship.
