Connect your AI and approve its changes
Get started guide 6 of 6
Connect your AI once and you can change your page by asking: "Add my TikTok", "Put WhatsApp at the top". You add exclusively.me to ChatGPT as a plugin, or to Claude or another AI app as a connector, sign in on exclusively.me and choose what it may do. Every change it wants to make comes to you as a preview first, and nothing goes live until you say yes. It works on every plan, Free included.
Before you start
- An exclusively.me account (claim your name if you haven't yet).
- ChatGPT, or another AI app that can add a connector with sign-in, such as Claude. Which of their plans allow connectors is up to them.
The steps
Add exclusively.me to your AI
In ChatGPT, open the Exclusively Me plugin and select Install plugin. There's no address to paste. You can also find it yourself: open Plugins in ChatGPT's sidebar and search for Exclusively Me.
For Claude, open exclusively.me/connect and copy the address shown there. Then go to Settings, then Connectors, choose Add custom connector, paste the address, name it exclusively.me and select Connect. The connect page has the steps for Claude Code and other apps too.
Sign in and choose what it may do
Your AI opens exclusively.me for you to sign in. Then you choose: Read only (it can look and change nothing) or Read and make changes. It never gets your password or your billing. Press Connect.
The approval screen: what the AI can read, Read only or Read and make changes, and Connect. Ask for a change
Back in your AI, ask in your own words. It reads your page first, then proposes the change. In Claude and ChatGPT the proposal appears as a card in the chat: what will change, and Approve or Discard.
An example chat: the request, the AI's answer and the exclusively.me card with Approve and Discard. Look at the preview, then approve
Press Open full preview to see your page exactly as it would look, with what's changing listed above it. If it's right, press Approve in the chat or Approve changes on the preview, and it's live. If it isn't, tell your AI what to change and it sends a new preview. A preview you don't answer expires; nothing happens.
The full preview: what changes, which AI proposed it and until when, Approve changes, and the page as it would look. Disconnect it whenever you like
In Settings, open My Devices. Under Connected AI apps you see each AI you've connected, what it may do and when it was last used. Press Disconnect and it stops at once.
Check it worked
Ask your AI "What's on my exclusively.me page?". It should list your page's title and links.
If something's different
My AI says it can't make changes
You chose Read only when you connected. Disconnect it in Settings, under My Devices, then connect again and choose Read and make changes.
The approval card didn't appear in the chat
Some apps show it as a link instead. Open the link; the preview page has the same Approve changes button.
I don't have an account yet
In ChatGPT you can start without one. Install the Exclusively Me plugin and ask for a page; it makes a free draft for you to look at, then you claim it on exclusively.me with your email.
Can it see my billing or delete my account?
No. An AI never gets your password or your billing, and can't close your account. Everything it wants to change, even removing a sub-page, is a proposal that waits for your yes.
I'm in a team
The same connection works for your teams. If you're a member, your AI can read your team's Media Centre and write posts with it; if you're an admin, it can also propose Media Centre changes. See Write this weekend's posts with your AI.
Why it's worth it
You already talk to your AI all day. Now it can keep your page up to date while you're in the middle of something else, and you stay in charge: one look, one yes.
